During the Y98 halftime show, Jen Siess visited with Magdalen Sparrow, Founder and Executive Director of Passback, a local St. Louis non-profit organization which has redistributed sports equipment valued at more than $500,000 to over 7,000 children, primarily in the St. Louis area. Magdalen shared Passback’s origin story of her shagging balls behind goals for her dad during youth coaching days to what it’s become in just over 3 years, recirculating 12 tons of plastic and metal sporting goods, creating a circular economy for sports gear so that every kid can play. To donate or request equipment, visit their website at www.passback-official.org.
