7/22/26 CITY Away Game vs LA Galaxy: Coach’s Corner with Yoann Damet

During the Y98 pregame show, Dale Schilly caught up with CITY Head Coach, Yoann Damet, ahead of the team’s road match out to the west coast to face the LA Galaxy. Coach Damet talked about his simultaneous pride in the team for managing a gritty 3-2 win at home against SKC after the World Cup break, while also acknowledging the need for continued work on game consistency and managing big moments. He also talked about the growth of the team during the break in synergy which can be seen both on and off the pitch, plus his admiration for the squad’s mindset in terms of competition and work ethic in training and in games.
