Fall, a 6‑foot‑2 center back known for his athleticism and aerial presence, arrives in MLS after spending the past two seasons developing in Spain’s system.
Fall originally came through the LAFC system, making 35 MLS appearances before departing on various loan spells, including one with Barcelona B - where he became a regular starter and formed part of a strong defensive pairing during the 2024–25 campaign. Barcelona completed a permanent deal for him in July 2024 for a reported 2 million euros.
In addition to his passing ability, Fall should prove to be a major weapon on set pieces, something CITY has missed since the departure of Tim Parker in 2024. Fall's size (6'2") and leaping ability makes him a handful to deal with in the air, as seen here in 2021 vs the Galaxy:
Against kansas later that season, he had not one but two headed goals - first, he uses his 6'2" frame and jumping ability to elevate and bury this ball:

Finally, in 2022 (against kansas again), he once again elevates and heads a fantastic ball across the face of goal for an assist. CITY looks to have added a real threat on set pieces to their backline.
