News leaked from overseas this morning that CITY has exercised a $2.3 million buyout for Conrad Wallem to transfer him permanently from Slavia Prague. This is reportedly much lower than the rumored buyout of $5 million rumored last season, and if so, represents both CITY's and Wallem's desire to keep him here. Wallem should be a fit in new coach Yoann Demet's ball possession style and would look to provide stability at the left wingback position.
Wallem, who will turn 26 in June, had 1 goal and 4 assists in 2424 minutes for CITY in the 2025 season.
