Midwest Premier League side BOHFS drew a home matchup against a familiar face to St. Louis soccer fans in their first round US Open Cup matchup. Union Omaha, who St. Louis CITY SC has defeated in their past two Open Cup draws makes another trip to the area to faceoff with the unlikely qualifiers, who defeated Chicago House at St. Mary's High School in the fall to earn the berth into the Open Cup proper.
The March 18, 7pm matchup, which will be televised on the CBS Golazo Network, will take place at Lindenwood's Hunter Stadium, a venue with its own place in St. Louis US Open Cup lore, having been the site of Saint Louis FC's upset of MLS' Chicago Fire in 2019.
