During the Y98 halftime show, Jen Siess chatted with Jim Conlon, Washington University St. Louis Women’s Soccer Head Coach about his winning program. Coming off back-to-back national championships and earning his 500th career victory in the 2025 title match, Jim talked about how he’s built a championship culture from the classroom to the pitch for his student athletes. He also shared what the program values beyond game wins to produce successful people after they graduate from the Bears’ demanding program. Finally, Jim talked about the influence that the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup will have on pushing soccer programs to be even better and how the growth of women in sports and other careers continues to have a positive impact around the world.
