9/20/25 CITY Away Game vs San Jose: Soccer in Society with KXOK’s Santiago Beltran and Maritza Martinez, CITY's Associate Director of Stadium Grounds

During the Y98 halftime show, we aired an interview between Spanish station KXOK’s Santiago Beltran and Maritza Martinez, Associate Director of Stadium Grounds for St. Louis CITY SC. Maritza talked about her diverse background, how she got into turf management as a college student, and the different sports she’s worked in. She also described her honor in being named one of the GMA 35 Under 35 award winners, why she advocates for women and people of color in her field, and how she encourages potential young talent to take a chance.
