9/16/26 CITY Open Cup Away Game vs Colorado Rapids: Coach’s Corner with Yoann Damet

During the Y98 pregame show, Dale Schilly caught up with CITY Head Coach, Yoann Damet, ahead of the team’s 4th of 5 games in a 15 day stretch - this time in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup semifinal against Colorado. Coach Damet talked about the success of the team’s West Coast trip, getting 4 points on the road against two tough teams. He and the team are working on improving the second half in terms of player spacing, execution through pressure, maximizing ball position, and timing. With a congested schedule, Coach Damet and staff are working to keep players fresh for maximum performance, knowing that a lot is on the line with this Open Cup semifinal match as they prepare to play at altitude against a tough Rapids squad that is proactive on both sides of the ball.
