During the Y98 pregame show, Dale Schilly caught up with CITY Head Coach, Yoann Damet, ahead of the team’s match back home after an extended road trip for two matches on the West Coast. Coach Damet expressed his pride in grabbing 4 points on the road against top tier MLS teams Vancouver and Portland. He also talked about how, though difficult to be away that long, the trip did help the team to bond better both on and off the pitch, especially with integrating new players. Though the Portland lead turned into a draw late in the game, Damet was happy with how the group kept pressing and managing mindset. Finally, Coach shared that Alex Matan’s impact on the pitch has just begun and what he’s looking for when CITY take on the Loons.
