4/4/26 CITY Away Game vs New York City FC: Coach’s Corner with Yoann Damet

During the Y98 pregame show, Jen Siess caught up with CITY Head Coach, Yoann Damet, ahead of the team’s away game at New York City FC, the first of a three road game stretch. Though happy the team was recently rewarded with the result at home against New England, Damet and staff continue to stress improvement in key areas - defensive connectivity and compactness, improvements on both sides of the ball, and more efficient decision-making. Damet also talked about how, for him, there is no creativity without structure, integrating players returning from injury, and keeping team identity whether playing home or away.
