During the Y98 pregame show, Jen Siess visited with CITY Centerback, Timo Baumgartl, ahead of the team’s MLS regular season match finally back at home after more than a month, hosting the San Jose Earthquakes. Baumgartl talked about his adaptation to St. Louis since arriving a year prior, debuting in the MLS as a striker before playing his natural centerback position, and his more consistent playing time in the roster this season with high touches on the ball. Timo also shared how he advises other defenders, how development is not a straight line, and having Eduard Lowen back in the lineup.
