During the Y98 pregame show, Matthew Rocchio visited with CITY Midfielder, Daniel Edelman, ahead of the team’s match hosting Eastern Conference team, the New England Revolution. Edelman talked about his belief in the team’s promise despite early results on the season, how growing up as a fan then a player for the New York Red Bulls shaped him, and the similarities between the New Jersey and STL soccer styles. He also addressed his own accountability for the first LAFC goal along with the team’s continued focus on better game management, working with the midfielders for better synergy on the pitch, and how the team needs to tighten up the ability to hold onto a result for a full 90 minutes.
